Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is MedVola?

MedVola is a global directory for medical and wellness travel. We bring thousands of clinics across 30 countries into one searchable place, so you can explore destinations, compare treatments, and reach every clinic directly. Think of it as the search engine for care abroad — we help you find the right place, then step out of the way.

2. Is MedVola free to use?

Yes — MedVola is currently free for travelers. Searching the directory, comparing clinics, and reaching out to them costs nothing. We may introduce optional paid features for travelers in future, but browsing and contacting clinics is free today.

3. How do I contact a clinic?

Directly — that's the whole point. Every listing shows the clinic's own contact details, such as its website, phone number, email, and social channels where available. Open a clinic's page and reach out through whichever channel suits you best; from the very first message, you're talking to the clinic itself.

4. Can I book a treatment through MedVola?

No — and that's by design. We connect, we don't book: there are no reservations or payments on MedVola. You arrange everything directly with the clinic, on your own terms and at your own pace.

5. Do you give medical advice?

No. We're a directory, not a doctor — nothing on MedVola is medical advice, and no listing is a recommendation of treatment. Your health decisions belong with you and your physician, so please always consult your own doctor before pursuing treatment abroad.

6. Where does the clinic information come from?

Listings are compiled from a variety of sources, including publicly available information such as clinics' own websites and public directories. We work to keep the information accurate, but details can be incomplete or become outdated. Please verify anything important — prices, availability, credentials — directly with the clinic before making any plans.

7. How many clinics and countries do you cover?

The directory currently spans thousands of clinics across 30 countries, from large hospital groups to specialist boutique clinics. Every one of them is searchable by destination and by treatment.

8. Do clinics pay to be listed?

Listing a clinic in our directory is free. We do also offer — or may offer in future — paid options for clinics, including membership tiers, featured listings, advertising, and sponsored content. Where a clinic takes one of these, it can affect how prominently its listing appears, including where it ranks. We don't disclose the specific terms of individual arrangements. Everything else on this page — the clinic's details, its accreditations, its contact information — is the same whether it pays or not.

9. I found an error in a listing — how do I report it?

We'd genuinely like to hear about it. Head to our contact form, choose "Feedback" as the reason, and tell us which clinic and what looks wrong. We read every report and check it against our sources. We can't promise a specific outcome or timeline — listings come from third-party sources and we can't always confirm what's correct — but reports like these are how the directory gets better.

10. How do I get my clinic listed, or update my listing?

Reach out through our contact form and choose "Clinic Inquiry" as the reason. Tell us about your clinic — or what needs updating on an existing listing — and a member of our team will get back to you.
